Ms Negative,

With all the manufacturing, meat working and other businesses closing in Dunedin over the next 6-9 months, plus the highest drop in the housing market in the country, don’t you think that Dunedin needs something positve to happen.

The announcement of a new Stadium in this city is the most positive thing that has happened for decades. Every person I know or have spoken to over the past eighteen months is very positive about this project going ahead and don’t mind paying the $5 a week extra for rates. Look at whats happened down south, or are you blind to whats happening outside your sad wee life, Invercargill is going through a real growth period at the moment because of the sporting facilities that have been built over the last 5 years. As for for arguement about terraces, ask those families who lost loved ones at Hillsborough, or are you ignorant to that? If you don’t know about this, do some research!!! Yes Carisbrook is one of the last stadiums to have a “Terrace” but it is obvious you haven’t stood their during a Test Match recently, otherwise you would never stand there again (it’s not very nice being pissed on by students).

When it comes down to it, what is your problem for this stadium going ahead? I have looked through your website and all I can see is just dribble, do you have a jog? Or do you rely on Aunty Helen, because personally therein lies yor whole problem.

Get off your fat arse and get a real job!!!!

Regards

U Tossers

What a waste of time your site is. Why don’t you be more constructive and look at ways to decrease the costs to rate payers. How about donate your sign up fee to the stadium. the stadium is going ahead whether you poeple like it or not so you may as well help find funding rather than bagging the project the entire time. Don’t you realise by putting a negative spin on it rate payers could have to pay more for the stadium due to lack of private funding. i hope none of you or your family are going to enjoy the France game next year, Because at one stage people had to fork out and pay for Carisbrook and it certainly wasn’t people like you.
